About Me
What Drives Me
I’ve always been fascinated with the process of creating something from scratch. That’s why I enjoy writing, telling stories and experimenting with language.
Before becoming a full-time writer I had all sorts of professional stints, from client-facing positions in sales and events, to research and language-related jobs for television and film companies. My writing career began in London in 2011 with an internship at a digital start-up. Since then I have worked with brands, publications, agencies and organisations all over the world.
I also hold a B.A. degree in English and an M.A. in Writing for Film and TV from Bournemouth University.
Outside of Work
My heritage is quite colourful – I have Bulgarian, Armenian and a pinch of Greek genes. I grew up close to the sunny Black Sea shore, but have lived in the UK for many years, in London, Birmingham and other places throughout England and Europe.
When I am not at my laptop I try to stay active. That’s why over the years I’ve developed a long list of hobbies – from photography and dancing, to martial arts and swimming, to name but a few. I love the arts, meditation, nature and travel. Outside of work I also experiment with writing fictional stories for print and screen.
